  • Individual car seats.
  • Maternity clothing.

As always we will be very selective of the items we accept:

  • Before you spend your valuable time preparing your toys and baby equipment or your clothing, please be sure they meet our guidelines. Also, please pay attention to tagging instructions. Tags done incorrectly will have to be redone by you, the consignor. Please allow ample time at check-in for correcting any merchandise prep or tagging deficiencies.
  • Our goal is to provide all shoppers with great quality items. Please look through your items very carefully. Sometimes the light in the building picks up some stains you miss at home, so please don’t be offended if we turn an item away. You are welcome to take them home and try to get the stain out and return them to the sale.

Product Safety/Recalls: We at Britches and Lace are always concerned with the merchandise our consignors bring to the sale. And as we are sure all of our consignors would not want to put any products that have been recalled into the home of another family - we urge all consignors to check out the following websites for recalls regarding children's products. It is each consignor's responsibility to not bring in anything that has been recalled or is unsafe.

Hangers:

  • Due to the volume of sales and the need to make our customer check-out process more efficient, we will not be taking the items off hangers at check-out. We suggest that you use either plastic tubular or regular wire hangers rather than flimsy plastic hangers that easily break. Shop early for hangers before they sell out!
  • Please make sure you use the proper size hanger so that your garment does not fall off the hanger. Size 6X garments and smaller should be on child size hangers. All others on regular size hangers. Do not use adult size hangers on child size clothing - presentation goes a long way. Please do not use clip hangers - items tend to fall off easily.
